It's just so lonely in single player...
A look at my underwater base, built originally near a desert for the sole purpose of glass production (becaues my main base is in a tundra biome and I stript mined the frozen beaches. Eventually I expanded it to include a greenhouse and kitchen in my effort to make it self sustaining, and am currently expanding it to include a library, an underwater penthouse, an art-gallery and to contine my railroad out into the beyond. Reason I built the base underwater was because hey, it's cooler then NOT building underwater, and plus, if Notch decides in a patch to unleash a zombie apocalypse, I can just blast the entrances with TNT.
