Minecraft: Player Detection (PATCHED in 1.3)

I found a new way to detect if a player is in a certain distance to the creation. It's working way better than the old arrow-pressure plate detector.
I used magnetique12's Animation Detector Switch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahK6QqF1o0U) to check if the player is in a 16 block radius. The ADS gets activated as soon as a particle hit the detector rail. Since particles only exist in a 16 block radius around the player we can use them to check if the player is near the construction.
It only works in single player and if the particles are turned on.
