This Furnace Array Station uses hopperminecarts to evenly distribute the items across 25 furnaces, locks when the fuel runs out and also clears out the threshold in the hopperminecart when the last items ran through the system. It smelts 2,5 items per second!
The first design shown in this video needs 115 hoppers,
the one using more minecarts needs only 88.
