For the second episode of Speedrun Saturdays we challenged two top Minecraft speedrunners to race against each other in 1.16, but the blocks they break are random. The runners featured are Couriway and Illumina and the commentator is BlueCrystal004.

The loot table randomizer concept was created by SethBling when 1.14 was the latest version of Minecraft. This idea was expanded by Fasguy and not only can you randomize the blocks, but you can also randomize the gameplay (gifts, piglin bartering, etc), chest loot, entity drops, and crafts. For simplicity we chose to only make the blocks random. We wanted to showcase the bare minimum of what a Minecraft randomizer looks like in a speedrunning environment, and it exceeded all our expectations!
