BTW I use INVEDIT for my axes cause I'm too lazy to make them for the video :)
I suggest if you want to have fun, don't use it.
1) Get pickaxes(Stone + Iron(if you can))
2) Make sure you have torches, sticks, a workbench, and some coal. Sticks + coal for more torches(if needed) and the workbench is for making more pickaxes.
3) Buckets of water if you plan on getting obsidian(Diamond pickaxe required!)
4) Find a cave of some sort, go deep as you want then start digging a 3x3 hole, placing torches everyone once in a while for light. If you find any special ores, dig around it. If nothing found then dig deeper.
5) If you hear a little ghost-like sound it is possible another cave or DUNGEON is near you, so dig all around.
6) Save iron pickaxes for redstone, gold, and diamond.
7) Keep digging until you hit bedstone. If you get lost in a cave, GG.
