The purpose of this tutorial is to create a minecraft 1.4.5 monster spawner (both a zombie spawner and sketelon spawner are possible with this). This will give you a nice amount of monsters dropping down and only needing one hit to kill.
This is an ideal minecraft 1.4.5 tutorial for servers and single player as well. You can get a lot of items using this method (skeletons = bonemeal/arrows/bows, zombies = swords/iron/zombie meat).
