Mining Minerals And Killing Orcs In A Turn-based Roguelike RPG | Forgotten Mines - Part 1
Hello everyone! We are back with some more Forgotten Mines, a pretty cool turn-based roguelike RPG where you have a limited amount of turns to clean a room (kill all enemies, then loot as much as you can). The RPG elements are basically the equipment you get, and that you mostly upgrade by leveling up and choosing new active or passive skills. Honestly, I really enjoy most of the gameplay, but there are a few things that I am not a big fan of. Equipment is really scarce and quite luck-based, meaning that you can spend a long time without finding anything good, not even in shops. The main reason of this is that enemies can just take the loot and keys and you have no way of getting it back (not even killing them) and the options you have to buy sometimes are unbelievable bad (I mean, they sometimes sell default equipment) and you only count with one reroll. So, saddest part about the run is that I was having fun, but I could see I was just going to get destroyed at some point, because enemies were getting increasingly strong and I didn't seem to be able to find a decent piece of armour.
Also, meta-progression seems a bit grindy... But we will see. I might be giving this another try.
