Written July 11, 2015 shortly after midnight, "Mirage" is an original music composition in a Middle Eastern style with no piano which is a first for me here. Just experimenting with different styles for some projects and I hope if I do it poorly that it will not offend any of my Middle Eastern friends. But this was actually fascinating to work on because I used a Middle Eastern scale which is similar to Phrygian, however it has a major third in the scale which makes it different. Love the sound of these notes and it's the first time I've used this type of scale to write with. Hope you enjoy something a little different from me. Uses lots of percussion and native instruments.
