232I hadn’t read too much about Blasphemous and the DLC when I played through it, I was trying to do as blind a playthrough as possible. I’ve also been a fan of metroidvanias since I played Symphony of the Night, the game that started the entire genre.
So i was very pleasantly surprised when I saw Miriam from Bloodstained Ritual of the Night in Blasphemous. Bloodstained was made as a sort of spiritual successor to Symphony of the Night. I had a chance to play through it not too long ago and check out, i really enjoyed the crystal mechanics, characters along with the cool monster designs and general atmosphere. So it was really cool to see Miriam show up in Blasphemous as a cameo for a DLC sidequest, out of now where.
