In this video I make a start going through the miscellaneous publishers that are my vintage paperback collection, starting with the British based one.
Some lovely books on view here including titles from Archer Press, Scion, Tauchnitz, zephyr Books, Metheun's Sixpennies, Ace Books, Arrow Books, Beacon, Compact and Gold Medal UK.
Some amazing and classic authors and cover artists are shown, including; Reginald Heade, Vargo Statten, Ngaio Marsh, P.G. Wodehouse, Dorothy Sayers, Raymond Chandler, Ray Bradbury, Bram Stoker, Jack Finney, Mike Avallone, Robert Bloch and many more!
These make fascinating viewing!
As I go along I do give the books a light clean. Edges are brushed clean and spines repaired with all internal markings removed.
It's a fun and therapeutic process which many find very pleasing to watch and listen to. I hope you enjoy it!
