Mission Asteroid (1980) Walkthrough
3Mission Asteroid is a graphic adventure game for the Apple II written by Ken and Roberta Williams and released in 1980 by On-Line Systems. It was later ported to the Atari 8-bit family and Commodore 64. The game was released as Hi-Res Adventures #0, despite being released after Mystery House and Wizard and the Princess. It was meant as an introduction to the adventure game genre so it was made easier than the rest of Hi-Res Adventures games.

In this adventure you find that an Asteroid is about to hit the Earth and destroy it. It is your mission, as an Astronaut, to rocket to the Asteroid and blow it up before it reaches Earth. You must fight through the Red Tape at Mission Control, then enter the Rocket Ship and learn how to fly it. I hope you have a flight plan or you will never find your way through space to the Asteroid. Be careful with the explosives, as they can be very dangerous if not handled correctly.
