"Mission C" - Lithium powered portable speaker 1
This old centre speaker has been sitting on a shelf for years, because I haven't liked its sound. I've dug it up and decided to change its sound to my liking, while turning it into a rather fancy, portable speaker with focus on low-end bass.
The model of the speaker is a Mission m7c2. It's going to be powered by six Panasonic NCR18650s in series, a Meanwell SCP-75-24 power supply, and a home made, linear lithium ion battery charger circuit. There's also most likely going to be a little AVR based power management board built in order to provide low voltage lockout and "PC-style" power button support. The amplifier board is going to be a 24 V capable class D board out of China, which is going to be able to push about 30 W into each of the speaker drivers.
