TPA3116D2 heatpipe mod - much improved performance! AND THEN I BLOW IT UP
I modify an old laptop heat sink to go onto the SKU216059 module, with really good results. I do a few measurements in the end to verify that the modification fixes the really bad thermal issue that the stock module suffers from.
Power output is increased slightly across the board, it becomes able to drive 4-Ohm loads really quite well, and frankly, everything just turns out magical.
Or does it?
