Because when it comes to light gun arcade games and light gun console games IMO there has never been a great alternative to using a CRT TV for retro gaming...until now! There are so many amazing light gun games I'd consider the best retro games and now I can play them on my LCD tv...with no compromises! So this is the MiSTer FPGA setup guide for Gun4IR and the Gun4IR review! From Point Blank on PS1 to Time Crisis, Crypt Killer and Elemental Gearbolt...Gun4IR is one of the best retro gaming devices ever!

On this episode of our MiSTer series we are going to be talking about lightgun gaming on MiSTer FPGA with the GUN4IR. Sure you can use the original GunCon on the MiSTer FPGA PS1 core and other cores (and its amazing) or the GunCon2 on MiSTer FPGA as well...but those require CRT tvs. The GunCon 3 is a great option but for my money the GUN4IR is wildly more accurate and the best LCD lightgun ever!
