Deathclaws are just misunderstood. Everyone already knows what Deathclaws are but do you really know?

You see, a lot of the creatures in Fallout are actually from the bombs itself with the radiation but Deathclaws are an experiment from the US government.

You see, the government actually mutated chameleons and intended to use them on the battlefield as troops but when the bombs dropped in 2077 they escaped their research facilities.

But I'll stand by my statement, I still think they're misunderstood. They are creatures that can actually learn very well. About as well as an eight-year-old but still very well.

They aren't always hostile either. There's a mission in Fallout 4 where if you return an egg to a Deathclaw's nest, they won't be hostile to you. And the kicker is, there's signs of them actually talking.

"You tell your so-called president that he will burn for this."

In Fallout 2, Frank Horrigan actually talks with the Deathclaw before the Deathclaw meets Frank Horrigan's fist.
