This time, we are unboxing the USB keyring containing musical comedian Mitch Benn's 2025 Edinburgh show, The Lehrer Effect. This celebrates the musical comedy of Tom Lehrer, who sadly passed away in July 2025.

As well as the album of 15 songs from the show (featuring Mitch's own compositions inspired by the work of Tom Lehrer and covers of some of Tom's best-known songs, including The Elements and Poisoning Pigeons), there are additional albums. "Songs I Owe To Tom Lehrer" is a compilation of more of Mitch's Lehrer-inspired work, and "Medium Rarities 4 - Sirloin and Thanks for all the Songs" is the latest compilation of rarities and lesser-known tracks.

You will also find the material that Mitch composed for the Rik Mayall Festival held in Droitwich in 2025. There are songs and sketches, and an album of related illustrations by HappyToast. See the linked video for more on those, also available in USB form.

This USB keyring is currently available from the Bandcamp page and will also be available at live dates during the rest of the year as Mitch tours The Lehrer Effect show (live dates are listed on his personal website).
