The latest book from the French company covers the first 10 years of the Liverpool-based software company Psygnosis, creators of influential games including Lemmings and Shadow of the Beast. From the collapse of Imagine Software to the takeover by Sony, explore the stories behind the games, the key personnel and their memories (including developers such as DMA Design, Reflections, Traveller's Tales, and Bizarre Creations), and the race to develop for new types of hardware - including the Sony PlayStation. With illustrations, screenshots, and archive photos, not forgetting pages of new interviews with the people themselves, this is the first in a trilogy telling the story of a pioneer in British software development that is sadly no longer with us.

The video creator was involved in this project as a proofreader and fact checker, and this is acknowledged in the video (with a credit at the front of the book). This copy of the book was pre-ordered during the crowdfunding campaign, giving me the inclusion of the T-shirt and the extra art cards.

The views expressed in this video are those of the creator and may not reflect those of Editions 64K, its staff, or the people mentioned in the book.
