After Graeme Mason's ZX Nightmares and ZX Dreams, I had the privilege of writing the Commodore 64 equivalent. C64 Nightmares was published in 2024, and now C64 Dreams has arrived. With over 120 of the best C64 games ever, divided into the six chapters as detailed in the timeline, these are the top-rated games of the commercial era (1982-1994) based on the Top 100 lists from GameBase64 and Lemon 64 websites, along with the highest scoring games from ZZAP! 64 magazine. There are some personal choices in there too, and I went for a mix of American and European games to truly reflect the diversity and originality of the C64 games industry.
