If you are interested how the shrine and brown chests work:

The shrine and the brown (koin) chests have an overlapping pool of Skins & Gear for characters they can give. Some might be unique to the shrine and some unique to the brown chests I cannot go back in time and check for that, but first it will roll what CHARACTER you are getting stuff for and then it will absolutely give you a skin that it can give and you do not own yet.

Once you have all the e.g. gear or skin of a character it has nothing to give you anymore and gives you an augment for that character instead.

Ghost chests, green chests and kronika vaults have their own stuff unique to them aswell
