It's so amazing to have managed to have actually turned this idea into a reality. I came up with the idea for this about a week ago after scrolling through old discussions about the game, and saw a video using the the edge of the wall to get launched out to the side in an attempt to do the respawn glitch (before it had ever been pulled off). I also knew that the top of that wall didn't have collision, and you could get around the invisible wall.

This is undoubtedly the hardest glitch in this game. I have spent a long time working to pull this off, and even though i think it might be less difficult to recreate now that i have done it once (Before yesterday I hadn't even gotten that close, I switched where I was using the shroom in attempts yesterday). I honestly don't think this will ever be done in an RTA run due to the difficulty of not only getting in the wall in the first place, but if by some miracle somebody does pull that off, then staying in the wall while not falling off and not clipping back into the track.

Currently this requires 2 mushrooms to do, so it would mean that the TAS route will be no glitch l1, this glitch l2, and the respawn glitch on l3. That doesn't mean that this won't eventually be possible with only 1 mushroom, but it will be very very difficult if it is possible. Mushroom tyres also should be possible for this glitch, but it is more difficult to do ledge hangs with mushroom tyres, so i'm not 100% positive it will be.
