Repeatedly messing up the Rainbow Road halfpipe section into the gap jump was tilting me a bit and without editing out the lobby selection this was 4.5 hours of straight worldwides. Prior to this grind I would stop after maybe 1 hour.

Ahead of Mario Kart World release I decided to aim for a satisfying 12345 VR in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I have watched a lot of Competitive MK8DX over the past year, but I haven't put in much time in like Time Trials to actually practice some of the techniques. So this is me kind of brute-forcing my way up the VR 'ladder'.
