The Cannons defeated the Ohio Machine two minutes into sudden victory overtime in a hard fought, high scoring game, thanks in part to Coca-Cola Player of the Game Paul Rabil. Both teams desperately needed a win to move from a four-way fourth place tie to a three-way third place tie in the League standings as the hunt for a playoff berth begins. The Boston Cannons are now tied at .500 with the Florida Launch and New York Lizards.
