My first ever animation using MikuMikuDance. Thought about using 3DS Max since I have the scripts to import the character. But the hair physics and shading would be lost. So decided to give MMD a shot. Didn't regret it. :D


Used some green screen magic to superimpose the resulting animation onto the background (which is the classroom pan over scene in MLP). This video was done as a spoof of a Spider-man animation meme that was made awhile back. Though I did my own take on the ending. Making a GIF out of this that loops nicely may be difficult due to the hair physics. So I challenge someone to find a way. :D

The scene is from the TV series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Specifically season 2 episode 11: Family Appreciation day. Roughly 6 minutes in, this well known class room scene appears. After a full nights research, I finally found the unedited version of this scene so that I could have something better to work with for making my own animation. :D

The character used is Hatsune Miku (one of the original models that came with the program), and yes, she does what she wants because the world is hers. :D

Oh and my animation skills are rather basic. So I doubt anyone would be interested in the motion data. But I will upload it if anyone requests it.
