0Just like the others, I too going want to give my thoughts on the controversy surrounding the FGC, including Smash, and the biggesr fighting event EVO, as someone who is an outsider and not interested to be part of the community, a casual audience looking from the outside.
Yes, EVO 2020 Online is officially cancelled after reports of former CEO of EVO, Joey Cuellar for sexual misconduct with minors, resulting of cutting ties with the organization.

It started when some competitors told their story of what was happening behind the scene. The situation got so big to a point that companies and well known fgc personnel stated they will back out of the event.

All I can say is, it's unfortunate what just happened to that community.
Also I want to credit Sajam (well known within the fgc) on the situation of "why now, why not before", he explained that it's not the easy as ppl think.

One last thing is that from this point on, there will no longer giving my thoughts on any EVO related situation, as well any showcase and thoughts from LabZero, I prefer not to give them anymore exposure after its controversy.
