Mob Softener v2 | Minecraft Redstone Tutorial
4Today, Zer0's showing off version 2 of his mob softener. How simple is it? How much space does it take? Does a wooden button really cause a problem? It apparently does sometimes...
The previous version of my mob softener took up a 3x3 area. This only takes up a 2x4 area. So it already takes up less space. Plus, instead of making use of a piston monostable circuit to work, it makes use of an observer. This only uses 2 pieces of redstone, whereas the other used redstone, a repeater, and redstone torches. So by comparison, this uses a lot less materials. Then again, it does require quartz to craft the observer, so it's slightly more expensive. However, I'd like to think the size and simplicity makes up for it.
