This is a test video of recording with my Modded Black Nintendo 3DS XL Capture Card. Buying one of these allows you to hook up the 3DS to your PC / Laptop and record the screen. You can either buy a pre-modded 3DS OR send yours in to get modded. The modification adds a Micro USB port with the ability for Video out.
Recorded using XSPLIT - Highest quality settings - MP4 with bit rate (kbps) at 192
Edited with Movie Studio Platinum 12.0 - video = sharpness is medium.
Volume on the 3DS is at 50%
Can I use a clear case with a modded 3DS XL capture card?
Yes, as you can see in this video it will still fit over and won't cover the micro USB port.
Can I use a add on Circle Pad Pro (Second analogue) with the modded 3DS XL capture card?
You must request this on the website and it will cost you extra money to have the micro USB port installed somewhere else on the system. So yes if you pay more money, no if you go for the regular modification.
