Hello everyone! Welcome to EP 7 of Valhelsia 3 series! In today’s episode, we are going to develop Botania. Since I have played Botania in Valhelsia 2, so I’m trying to develop as fast as possible. In terms of mana generation, I’m using Kekimurus instead of Endoflame. This flower absolutely crushed my Endoflame setup in Valhelsia 2. You will see it in the video!
When I was recording this episode, the modpack version was already updated to 3.0.13 but I did not update my modpack because there was a critical rendering issue with Mekanism ( Definitely caused by Optifine ). So, I will not update this modpack unless there is a big update to it or Optifine’s update fix the problem. Before that, my modpack version will stay at 3.0.11.
But, I want to gather your opinions about Optifine! If you think the shader is very beautiful and you don't care about consistent framerate ( 60FPS ) then I will keep Optifine in this modpack. If you think the shader causes a lot of problems and you don't want to see broken textures or rendering issues then I will uninstall Optifine until they fixed the problem.
