1 year ago today, I randomly decided to build the iCarly apartment in The Sims 4. I posted a short video on TikTok showing how I built it. I went to sleep with 700 followers and woke up to 1 million views and 9,000 new followers. I quickly began to gain more and more followers, likes, comments, the whole nine yards. Now, 1 year later, I have 190,000+ followers on my TikTok account! (@daniellebuilds) It’s so crazy because I almost didn’t post that video in fear of being judged and I was worried that no one would care. Over 7 million people have viewed that video now, and I have so many people following along on my TikTik/YouTube journey.

My dream is to make YouTube videos full time, but for now, I am working full time at Target, which I absolutely love. I’m not monetized on any platform yet – hence why I can’t turn to creating content full time just yet.

I recently got engaged and I have a LOT of huge events happening in the next year or two, so I’ve got a lot of things that I need to focus on before I give all my attention to social media and creating. While I will still post multiple times a day on TikTok and as often as I can on YouTube, please know that I LOVE creating and editing videos. I’ve been making all sorts of videos since I was a kid, so this is something that I want to do for a very long time. When the time is right, hopefully I will be able to create content full time. :)

For now, please know that I am working so hard on getting out as many videos as I can while working at Target and handling a bunch of other things! I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I read every single comment, and even if I don’t reply to yours, just know that I see you and I appreciate you so much!
