Modern Combat 5: Blackout, also known as Modern Combat 5 and Modern Combat: Blackout, was released in 2014 on iOS and Android, later being ported to both Windows and Nintendo Switch in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Developed by Gameloft Bucharest, it is currently the final game in the Modern Combat series, this time taking more of a free-to-play approach to its mission structure, requiring "energy" to be spent to play through its missions as well as a certain number of "stars" to unlock subsequent levels.
*Note: The audio cuts out for about 30 seconds during the mission "Venice I: Sniping" (1:25:51).
