This week I’m finally getting to know Quake III Arena—not just as a benchmark tool, but as the fast-paced, skill-driven FPS classic it truly is. After years of only using it to test hardware (especially Raspberry Pis!), I’ve taken the time to dive into the gameplay, mechanics, and timeless feel.
