Modern Magic — Simic Infect Mirror w/ Bonus Game
I like to think of my sunburned friend as my Infect protégé, as he started playing Simic Infect as his serious deck in Modern after I had been playing various Infect lists around and against him for some time. Now, will the apprentice prove to be greater than the master? Stay tuned!
You'll notice that his list seems to have a greater concentration of pump spells, as is evidenced by his inclusion of Groundswells. His deck, however, appears to lack as much card selection/draw (mine has Sleight of Hand), and he also dips all the way down to 18 lands, which is fewer than I prefer, to be sure. It does make me wonder what else he's cut, what else is different between our lists.
