Modern MtG — Dimir Undying Elementals vs. Mono Red 8-Whack
My opponent is young and new to the game, so I know that I shouldn't expect the tightest gameplay from him, but I was honestly getting frustrated at times. He hasn't yet caught onto the conventions of gameplay that we all take for granted, like having to tap your creatures when they attack and not showing your cards to your opponent. I have to remember that I would want grace shown to me when I make mistakes, too.
8-Whack is a scary aggro deck in the first couple of turns, but it runs out of gas fairly quickly. Then again, I did not have any source of lifegain and only a few blockers at a time, so I was always at a decent risk of losing. The abundance of artifact creatures also turned off Shriekmaw, so that out was lost, unfortunately. I actually really like the Signal Pest and Cheerios-staples in Ornithopter and Memnite, and kudos to him for playing those cards.
