Melee waepons in Terraria: You hit them with the blade, and that's how you deal damage. However, blades might be too small to hit an enemy, then what do you do? Not much, really. Some blades do shoot projectiles to cover that issue, and that's that. I decided to take a look back to the Legacy tModLoader to use one of the most legendary(?) mod in the community: Item Modifier have the option to edit Item Size, which means bigger blades and bigger illogics!... right?
