In this episode of Crypt Of The NecroDancer, I decide to take a break from Zone 4 and try out Zone 1 with a new character: the Monk. The monk is a special character in that he cannot pick up any gold. No money. No cash. Nothing. The moment he simply touches any gold he dies. This goes against everything the other characters go for since I'm so used to picking up the money after killing a mob. On the plus side though, every shop is free, so there's no need for gold anyways. The other advantage to this is that there's no need for combos either. A little bit of a tricky character but fun regardless and brings a whole new challenge to the game.
