Auf der Suche nach dem legendären Schatz BIG WHOOP begibt sich Guybrush in "Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge" auf die Insel Scabb Island, wo es einen Hinweis auf die Lage des Schatzes geben soll. Die Insel wird jedoch von Largo LaGrande beherrscht, dem ehemaligen gehilfen des Geisterpiraten LeChuck. Wir machen uns also auf die Insel von der Schreckensherrschaft Largos zu befreien und helfen dabei versehentlich Largo den Geisterpiraten LeChuck wiederzubeleben. Nun müssen wir diesen erneut besiegen, dafür benötigen wir aber die Position des geheimnisvollen BIG WHOOP.
