Hide your fish! Hide your whales! The man suspected of stealing monkeys from the Dallas Zoo has been caught… leaving the aquarium. Police say they received trips from the public that the suspect was at the Dallas World Aquarium near animal exhibits. When they tracked him down, he got on a Dallas Area Rapid Transit train, but they were able to catch him with him nearby.
Police are still investigating whether he was involved with the other suspicious incidents at the zoo. For now, he’s been charged with six counts of cruelty to non-livestock animals — though really, he should have been charged with first degree monkey thievery and attempted whale trafficking.
