Exploring the Monroe drainage pipe tunnels known as the Monroe Haunted Tunnel System. This tunnel has 2 main systems, System 1 the longer and larger tunnel network and System 2 which is mostly unexplored, there are also other places where the tunnel could split off and a human could fit in but those have been documented yet. But today we will be going over the second room in system two known as “Junk Yard”. This room is very similar to the cave. It’s large and has minimum standing room. There is a drainage grate that you can look out of. This is the first room in what is known as the crawling rooms. This is because to get to Junk Yard you must army crawl through plastic piping which only the bravest will do. This room however got its name from the Trash Compacter shape of the room and the presence of trash that is usually quite rare in the tunnel. In the far right corner is another small plastic piping leading to room three of system 2 known as “The Crevice” which at the point of this video is the farthest anyone has made it into system 2. Also note that the tunnel to “The Crevice” is flooded and the floor is made up of several rocks and other materials, which makes it very difficult to complete.
