So I was having a chat with a lovely guy on Mastodon, he had shared a picture of his collection of EDF games, and I was surprised to see so many! The best part was, the first localised game in the series and the title 'Monster Attack', with a name like that I probably wouldn't have given it a look it.

The EDF Series is one of my favourites, it is just a joy to play and I love to see all the things I have become accustomed to in the later games show their origins here!

So let's take a dive into a rather weird budget title and join the... Oh... Global Defence Force... I don't thinking GDF has the same ring to it!
