Yes, BULLET BARRAGE is great.

The first couple of tries go weird as I try to keep Ground Splitter, but after dropping Ground Splitter for straight BULLET BARRAGE I ended up doing a lot better.

Among other things, I find that using BULLET BARRAGE seems to result in less tail cuts. I think that has a lot to do with difficulty properly aiming BULLET BARRAGE at the part I want to actually hit.
