We watch as the inhabitants of Mahana Village seem to be putting on quite the performance, but not everything is peaceful as it seems. Because not to far off, deep in the jumps an individual is being pursued by a group of hunters. After loosing her pursuers the mysterious individual comes upon a ruin, where the Islands guardian is waiting. But the reprieve doesn't last long, because as soon as the guardian hands her an egg everything goes down quite quickly. First there is red light everywhere, then the hunters return attacking the guardian, then the sea runs a deep shade of red and then all of the islands Rathalos population decide to fly away...
