It's so weird but also fun to come back to streams that I haven't watched in a while or really remember doing (streamer brain.. Everything's gone, nothing is real, and exhaustion is a lot haha).
I think this day I just really wanted to play Monster Hunter: World, but Steven and I had been playing together, so I didn't want to advance in the story without him, but I also really wanted to play. But then I realized that he and a friend had played a little and advanced a tiny bit so then I figured I could get to that point to catch up as well and that would be fine. I also could have just played my solo character Ryuu and his palico Miyuu, but I think they were at a level where playing them would mean that their level would advance too far? I'm actually watching the stream as I type because that's what I think happened, but I don't actually remember, so I'm finding out along with you!
This has to be one of my favorite games in the world that I instantly loved from the get-go. It feels so magical and curious and there is so much to explore! I can lost in it for hours just running across the landscape and making up stories that may or may not fit the lore that already exists... You already know that if you've watched the other VODs or were there for the streams.. Which, by the way, thank you for hanging out for them! It's been so much fun to share the adventure with whomever wants to come along! I'm so glad to have the ability to be able to do that. It's become something I really look forward to, and I think about it all the time and what else I can do to make things more fun or creative or just ridiculously dumb for the experience.
Back to the game, though, I really hope to continue it some time in 2024. I feel like this game will be a loooooooong adventure for me, and ya know what? I don't even mind one bit, because it's a hell of time every time I get back in! And for the people who hang out for it and don't mind the extra world-building and lore, thanks for contributing to the fun!
