Just a quick video on the bare minimum needed to do to get a shockhopper egg. Please excuse the bad movement at times,

During the NG+ run, Silver and Silk are normally hard to come by for equipment upgrading. Since you can prep a file before hand, getting a dodo egg and a shockhopper for it is the easiest way to get something to donate to get free silver per egg. But first you need to encounter the monsters in the overworld, so either a smokebomb encounter or a boss might help, but so far, this was the quickest way to get silver from this kind of fight.

So other than doing the rest of snowy peaks, once you are able to get back and donate eggs per the ever changing route
(I normally do after the Alchemist Sun Palace fight to donate shifted eggs)
You can donate 10 Shockhopper eggs to merit 10 silver. which is more than enough for some decent upgrades.

more can be done in this style, since a donated egg will merit the common drops it can give, but for now, this works great for what I need, and doesn't take up too much time.
