Moon Hunters is a great 4 player local co-op indie game from indie games developers Kitfox Games. Moon Hunters considers itself a co-op personality test about exploring an ancient world over the course of 5 days.

You defeat monsters as a team while growing stronger as time goes on. I really loved the fact there are random multiple choice queries thrown in throughout tailored to each individual character.

Moon Hunters is a hard co-op game with plenty of replayability, as every time you complete the game, it changes so you basically enter a new story line.
