MOONLIGHTER 2 DEMO on Steam Deck and ROG Ally: needs a LOT of care 🙌
61The Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault demo is now available, and we can finally test how it runs on a PC handheld, as this game is a real handheld.
In this video, we see the performance on the Steam Deck with SteamOS and on the ROG Ally X with Windows, and I have to tell you, the game still needs a lot of work. It's true that it's a demo, and that's why we're not going to be too critical, but if you want to release it in good condition, it needs more work.
Not only do we have stuttering, but performance on the Deck, for example, is rather low compared to what it could be. It's also on the ROG Ally with a low TDP, but we can use tools like Lossless Scaling to try to improve it.
Let's hope the game improves a lot, and you'll have it here the day it officially releases to see how it performs ❤ ️
