Worn out from his efforts last time, Gryfflet has been relaxing in anticipation of our return: happily for him he is not expected to jump immediately into the fray as changes to the game require some reconfiguration. Reasonably satisfied he sets out into Nargroth bent upon more slaughter and destruction while we pick up our Lore discussion from last time. He returns to the Watching Stone to report his progress and is granted a vision of "Borangos the Horror" who seems to be in charge here in Nargroth: he is then given three further targets along with more objects for destruction, the search for which which allows our discussion to continue. One by one, Gryfflet tracks down Nargúr, Narthalum, and Dúrossul, and defeats them all. Once again, reporting to the Watching Stone gains us a vision of our next target but this time it consists of fragments of some ancient artefact that might prove useful against Borangos. Naturally these are spread all around Nargroth, and once found they need to be taken to the Udûn Foothold for one Isnir to inspect, for reasons never quite explained. She is however sufficiently helpful to allow us to return to Nargroth and attempt to confront Borangos. Unfortunately Gryfflet is overcome on his first attempt, and there is not enough time to try again, so we leave that to the next session.
"Wake up, Gryfflet!"
"I'm going to carry on not thinking about that!"
"So, here we are…and that's the way I came from!"
"Enough exploring, knock it off!"
"I'm getting the picture now!"
"I perforated that dude!"
"You cannot hope to stop Gryfflet destroying pillars!"
"Oh man, you were a wimp!"
"I'm tracking, I'm getting it now!"
"'Have we met before?' I don't think so, so why I would have thought to bring these to you is beyond my understanding!"
