More AWFUL News for Star Wars Movies...
178So lately we’ve had some really controversial comments from the staff behind the upcoming Rey movie. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy in particular, the director of the film, has made some comments that stirred up quite a reaction from the community. Whatever you make of these comments, its pretty clear that lucasfilm put out the very recent news about a brand new Mandalorian Movie and Season 4 of the show, just to keep the attention off the controversy.
However, given the news i’m about to go into, I don’t think Lucasfilm are going to be able to keep the attention off of this movie. With what you’re about to hear, I wonder if this movie will even still happen. So, Steven Knight, the current writer of the movie who took over from Damon Lindelof last year, has apparently not been able to turn in a draft of the script yet, according to a reliable insider, as written up by the Bespin Bulletin.
