The latest season 2 update if Call of Duty Warzone 2 / Modern Warfare 2 brought a slew of improvements to gyro aim. In this video I try to demonstrate how underrated gyro aim really is.

My aim isn’t anything amazing, and I make a few embarrassing mistakes here and there during the video, but you can tell that in the right hands gyroscopic aim feels like aimbot, and above all 100% fair! No aim assist here!

In case you’re just starting to familiarise yourself with gyro:

Copy my RS+Gyro sense settings, but instead of using my gyro sense, set the gyro to a value of 3.00 horizontal and 1.50 vertical (half of what I use right now). This way you don’t overshoot very quickly while trying to look around and aim with gyro.

Now just play like you would when you play with normal settings + aim assist by aiming with the RS to look around and track targets during a fight. just remember to “nudge” the controller when aiming and shooting in the direction you want to hold your crosshair.

All you have to do is to just rest your controller in your lap, or hover just above your desk surface if you’re on a PC by resting your arms just above the elbow on the edge of the table top. (This is nice because it allows for frictionless motion l) Use your right hand to hold the controller firmly in place (you don’t have to use a lot of strength, just try to not move you right hand around.) and use your left hand to push the controller clockwise to track right, and “pull” counter-clockwise to track left.

I personally use inverted vertical on gyro so that when I tilt my controller down the camera also looks down (to counter upwards recoil), just like you would IRL when looking down the barrel of a gun or rifle, but that is really down to preference
