The Corridor Digital short To the DEATH has probably the most realistic lightsaber / energy sword fight that I've seen. It's done well. Faster and more realistic than, uhh, but not as over the top obviously choreographed like *cough*
They obviously pulled in some martial arts experts, and it really highlights that normal people could, with training, use these types of weapons with training.
It's great.
One piece of constructive criticism is that they focused heavily on real life sword techniques. Now this sounds obvious, but we've only really had max two edges on a sword, and that dictates how us humans use them. But lightsabers can be lethal on any number of their theoretically infinite edges, and can do damage with the littlest touch. There are hints of that from Corridor digital, but... They've given me a taste of realistic lightsabers and I want more!
