This knife armor is GARBAGE. Here's why.
512This knife armor system from eBay does a few things pretty well (if it even is stab and cut resistant). But, upon analysis, that is not where the story ends.
It could definitely augment other gear, but it is far from the best tactical knife armor available.

THE ULTIMATE KNIFE ARMOR???
Hey, Marcus here. Sword and sci-fi guy. I randomly came across this knife fighting armor on eBay, and it is... Something. I'm gunna break down if it would be effective as actual armor.
So, let's base everything off of one assumption: that's the assumption that this "cut and thrust resistant" armor could actually stop.. Anything.
The good.
It has neck protection!
The neck's full of little bits that don't want to be cut, so (thumbs up). Actually reminds me of how "leatherneck" is a nickname for US Marines because they allegedly wore leather around their necks for protection (but it was actually because they had a leather neck on their uniform to keep them at attention).
Back to the armor. This would be the left hand, likely the off hand, and it's mostly protected. This is great! If you're in some knife fighting duel then you could take a defensive stance with this arm leading and acting as a shield.
It's kind of similar to some gladiator armor, and they're shirtless, too.
Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. If you did take that defensive stance, it'd make sense to also fortify the left leg, which would be leading. I think you could lose that shin protector and armor both thighs, because... Who's going to aim that low with a knife?
Next red mark: all the pieces are separate. Things have a habit of just sliding down your arms if they're not anchored.
And lastly, probably the most obvious: literally all of the vital organs are unprotected. The armor focuses on artery protection, but neglects everything else.
I'd be willing to call it a resounding Not That Good
It's also explosion proof! PROOF. So that way your shoulders and firearms will be perfectly fine, even after a nuke.
