Wow. You just never know when you might stumble across something completely unexpected and it ends up being a gift. While at my mother's house, who is a bit of a hoarder, she found another safe and we were able to get it open and voila! More silver!

I learned the history behind the silver bar (another bar created from photo processing chemicals) and more importantly learned my grandmother was a waitress who saved many of her .05, .10, .25., .50 and $1.00 tips back in the 50's. She saved hundreds of pre-65 coins!

These will make great additions to my silver stack, and will be handed down to another generation after me.
